Achilleas Farsala and Niki Volou veterans hold friendly football match

Veterans from the historic Thessaly football clubs Achilleas Farsala and Niki Volou met for a friendly match at the Farsala Municipal Stadium on November 2. The event served as a nostalgic reunion for the two clubs.

Achilleas Farsala won the match with a score of 4-3. For the home team, Giannakopoulos scored twice, while Voulgaris and Zafairoulis each added one goal.

The evening included honorary awards recognizing contributions to Thessalian football. Achilleas Farsala veterans honored Giorgos Panagiotopoulos, president of the Niki Volou Veterans, for his service to both clubs. Panagiotopoulos previously played for Achilleas in the B' Ethniki category between 1973 and 1975. The Niki Volou Veterans Association was also recognized for its long-standing contribution to Greek football.
