Achim Beierlorzer begins coaching tenure at FC Ingolstadt

Achim Beierlorzer has completed his first training sessions as the head coach of FC Ingolstadt 04. Following his appointment to succeed Sabrina Wittmann, the 58-year-old expressed high confidence in the squad's quality and energy.

Beierlorzer emphasized his tactical focus on high intensity, activity with the ball, and collective defensive play. He noted that while the club and the team are ambitious, he intends to build on the work of his predecessor.

Ingolstadt currently sits in 14th place in the 3. Liga. Beierlorzer will lead the team in a friendly match against 1. FC Nürnberg this Friday, followed by his first official competitive match against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on October 11.
