Achraf Bencharki's future at Al Ahly SC remains uncertain

Moroccan player Achraf Bencharki is awaiting a decision regarding his future with Al Ahly SC as his current contract approaches its end at the conclusion of the season. While the club management aims to reach an agreement to extend his contract and retain him as a key attacking element, interest from external clubs has emerged. Specifically, Al Ahly Benghazi from Libya has reportedly made an offer to acquire the player.

On the technical front, Bencharki has recently returned to form, scoring a goal during a friendly match against Misr Lel Makkasa, which Al Ahly won 3-0. This performance comes as the team prepares for the upcoming Cairo Derby against Zamalek SC, scheduled for October 11 at Cairo International Stadium as part of the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
