Achraf Dari returns to Al Ahly lineup under coach Hossam Ammouta

Moroccan defender Achraf Dari has returned to the Al Ahly squad for upcoming matches, including a crucial Egyptian League fixture against Abu Qir Fertilisers. Following a period of absence, Dari has shown improved form, notably performing well during the Cairo derby against Zamalek.

Coach Hossam Ammouta revealed that Dari’s reintegration began during the team’s preparatory training camp in Spain. The defender participated in four friendly matches to regain match fitness and rhythm. While Ammouta has included new arrival Tawfik Mohamed in the squad, he has opted to exclude Aktay Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud for technical reasons as part of a tactical effort to revitalize the team.
