Achraf Hakimi's fitness uncertain ahead of PSG‑Arsenal Champions League final

Paris Saint‑Germain right‑back Achraf Hakimi suffered a right‑thigh injury in the first‑leg semi‑final against Bayern Munich on 28 April. The 27‑year‑old has been training individually and is expected to join the squad’s collective session at the Poissy Campus later this week, ten days before the Champions League final in Budapest on 30 May.

Club officials say Hakimi could be available for the final, but his inclusion in the starting XI remains doubtful. If he does play, he would likely replace Warren Zaïre‑Emery, who covered the position in Hakimi’s absence. PSG also face other injury concerns, including Ousmane Dembélé’s right‑calf issue.

Arsenal, meanwhile, deal with their own right‑back problems, with Ben White ruled out and Jurrien Timber still recovering from a groin injury. The Gunners will look to exploit any weakness on PSG’s flank if Hakimi is unavailable.
