The ACI Karting Italian Championship is underway at the Circuito del Sele in Battipaglia, featuring the KZN and MINI National Trophy categories. The event has drawn participants from 18 different regions.

In the KZN Under qualifying sessions, Domenico Giuseppe Tiranno secured pole position with a time of 46.052, followed by Ennio Sessa and Antonio Piccioni. In the KZN Over category, Andrea Spagni took pole position with a time of 46.435, leading a field that includes Luciano Medeghini and Roberto Profico.
