ACI World Airport Experience Summit concludes in Istanbul
The eighth edition of the ACI World Airport Experience Summit recently concluded in Istanbul, Türkiye, hosted by iGA Istanbul Airport. The event brought together approximately 800 aviation leaders and professionals from 80 countries to discuss the evolution of human-centered travel and the role of hospitality in airport operations.
A key highlight of the summit was the Gala and Awards Ceremony, which celebrated excellence in customer experience. The ceremony coincided with the 20th anniversary of ACI’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program, recognizing over 100 top-performing airports for their service standards.
Looking ahead, ACI World announced that Melbourne Airport will host the 2027 summit, marking the first time the event will be held in Oceania. This announcement comes as industry leaders prepare for significant growth, with global passenger traffic projected to nearly double over the next two decades.
