ACI Worldwide integrates Swift ledger transactions into ACI Connetic

ACI Worldwide has announced that its cloud-native payments hub, ACI Connetic, will now support intelligent routing for Swift ledger transactions. This integration allows banks to process tokenized deposits alongside traditional payment types within a single operational environment.

Swift introduced its blockchain-based ledger last year to facilitate the cross-border movement of tokenized deposits. By incorporating these transactions into the ACI Connetic platform, banks can utilize their existing workflows, controls, and infrastructure to manage digital assets. This approach aims to eliminate the need for institutions to build separate, parallel payment operations specifically for digital assets, potentially lowering the barrier to scaling tokenized deposit production.
