ACIN Recycling Metals targets 600 million euros in annual revenue

ACIN Recycling Metals, a company based in Girona, Spain, is undergoing a major expansion to transform metal waste into secondary raw materials. The firm has reached a turnover of 240 million euros and is currently executing an investment of approximately 120 million euros to scale its operations.

Co-founder Joan Campmajó projects that once the new facilities are fully operational, the business could reach annual revenues between 500 and 600 million euros by 2028 or 2029. This growth is expected to increase the workforce to between 300 and 400 employees, up from the current staff of approximately 100 at ACIN and 200 within the Mujer Trabajo group.

The company operates between metal recovery agents and foundries, purchasing collected waste to industrially process, separate, and convert it into usable raw materials, with a primary focus on aluminum and copper.
