ACIPG Tax Committee begins new term to guide businesses on tax reform

The Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG) has launched the first technical meeting of its Tax Committee for the 2026–2028 term. The meeting focused on the restructuring of the committee and the organization of thematic working groups.

A primary topic of discussion was the recent joint communication from the Receita Federal and the IBS Management Committee regarding new fields required on tax invoices. While the automatic rejection of documents lacking these new tax details has been postponed, the obligation to fill in the fields remains in effect, and the reform schedule is unchanged. Professionals recommend that companies continue filling in the fields and use this period to finalize system adjustments with software providers and accountants.
