ACLI di Avellino supports Nobel Peace Prize for Gaza children

The ACLI di Avellino has officially joined a proposal to award the Nobel Peace Prize to the children of Gaza. The initiative, launched by Professor Eugenio Mazzarella of the University of Naples Federico II and supported by the Catholic newspaper Avvenire, has gathered over 18,000 signatures from individuals, associations, and institutions.

Alfredo Cucciniello, the provincial president of ACLI di Avellino, stated that the move aims to highlight the dramatic consequences of war and protect the dignity and rights of young people. The organization noted that the proposal seeks to symbolically recognize the true victims of the conflict—the younger generations who face violence, fear, and deprivation without protection or fault.
