ACM Honors celebrates Dolly Parton and country music icons in Nashville

The 19th ACM Honors took place at The Pinnacle in Nashville, celebrating influential figures in country music. The ceremony, hosted by Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum, recognized artists, songwriters, and industry contributors for their lasting impact on the genre.

Dolly Parton was a central honoree, receiving the ACM Poet’s Award. She accepted the honor via a video message, noting that songwriting has served as her “therapy” and “release.” Parton indicated she accepted virtually due to recent health concerns, including dehydration, which led her doctor to advise against traveling.

Other major recipients included Kacey Musgraves, who earned the ACM Spirit Award, and Eric Church, who received the Lifting Lives Award. The ceremony also featured posthumous recognition for songwriter Brett James and The Carter Family, both of whom were presented with the ACM Poet’s Award. Additionally, the Paramount+ series “Landman” was honored with the ACM Film Award.
