Acámbaro experiences damage from heavy rain and wind

Heavy rainfall and strong winds in Acámbaro, Guanajuato, caused several emergencies on Monday evening. The local Volunteer Fire Department responded to reports of seven fallen trees, six power outages, and a gas leak caused by a ruptured pipe in a condominium complex.

Emergency services, including the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and municipal civil protection, worked to restore power and clear debris from roads. Most services were stabilized by late Monday night, with cleanup efforts scheduled to continue through Tuesday.
