ACORN: Seed of Resistance announced for 2027 PC release

Guidelight Games and publisher Ghost Ship Publishing have announced 'ACORN: Seed of Resistance', a new roguelike strategy-adventure RPG scheduled for release on PC via Steam in 2027.

The game features auto-battle mechanics set in a dark fantasy world where players lead a group of animals attempting to rebuild a fallen order following a betrayal. Gameplay includes procedurally generated worlds, missions lasting approximately 15 minutes, and strategic team building involving skills, equipment, and relics. Players must also manage resources, set up camps, and cook to survive dangerous regions.

The title was showcased during 'The Big Break Showcase 2026' and will include Japanese language support. Playtest applications are currently being accepted.
