Acquedotto del Fiora launches €85,000 water and sewage pipe replacement in Ribolla

Work began on Wednesday 8 July in Ribolla, a hamlet of Roccastrada, to replace aging water‑supply and sewage pipes under the Acquedotto del Fiora network. The €85,000 project will install 60 metres of new sewer pipe and 150 metres of new drinking‑water conduit, rebuilding all connections to households along Via Casetta Papi. The operator said the sections had been under close monitoring because of frequent problems, prompting the replacement to improve service continuity.

An alternative access road was authorised by a municipal ordinance to keep traffic flowing while the works proceed. The contractor expects to finish by the end of the month, noting that weather may affect the schedule and that temporary service interruptions will be announced promptly through the company’s usual communication channels.
