Acqui Terme begins Giuliano Barisone stadium renovations

Renovations are set to begin at the Giuliano Barisone stadium in Acqui Terme. Starting August 24, contractors will remove the existing synthetic turf as the first step in a comprehensive facility upgrade.

The project aims to restore full functionality to the sports complex. Following the turf replacement and approval from the Lega Calcio, work is expected to conclude by October. Beyond the playing surface, the municipality plans to modernize the entire facility, including replacing showers, sanitary ware, flooring, fixtures, and the boiler. Work on the locker rooms is scheduled to commence once the field is ready, with a target completion date by the end of the year.
