Acre AB acquires Grenverket to expand in Värmland

Acre AB, a provider of tree care, forestry, and infrastructure services, has acquired Grenverket (Trädverket Sverige AB) located in Hammarö, Värmland. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Acre’s presence in the region between Western Sweden and Dalarna.

During a transition period leading up to a full merger in 2027, the business will operate under the name ‘Grenverket, en del av Acre’. Grenverket founder Fredrik Ellström will continue to lead the local operations, and existing customers will retain their current contact persons and agreements.

Through this merger, Grenverket will gain access to Acre’s broader range of services, including arborist services, forestry maintenance for infrastructure, and nature conservation. Fredrik Ellström was recently recognized as the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Hammarö 2026’ for his work in building the company since 2017.
