Acre, Brazil Opens Free Police Exam Prep Program and New Municipal Job Contest

State deputy Fagner Calegário announced Operation 190, a partnership with the preparatory course Quebrando a Banca to provide free study opportunities for candidates of the upcoming Acre Police Military (PMAC) exam. The initiative will offer 190 in‑person seats in Rio Branco and 3,000 online slots across the state, with registration opened on the official website.

Meanwhile, the Rio Branco Municipal Chamber has accelerated the preparation of a public contest to fill approximately 40 immediate vacancies and create a reserve pool for future retirements. The forthcoming edital, expected within 30 days, will cover positions requiring secondary and higher‑education qualifications, with entry salaries up to R$ 11,488.57.

Both measures aim to expand access to public‑sector employment for Acre residents and modernize local government staffing.
