Acre budget proposal for 2027 reaches R$ 14.6 billion

The proposed Annual Budget Law (PLOA) for the state of Acre for 2027 shows a total projected budget of R$ 14.688 billion, representing a 6.3% increase compared to the 2026 budget of R$ 13.816 billion.

Personnel and social charges are set to consume nearly half of the total budget, with R$ 7.349 billion allocated for this category. This accounts for approximately 50% of the total proposal. While the overall budget is growing, investments are projected to remain nearly stagnant, with a slight decrease from R$ 1.048 billion in 2026 to R$ 1.047 billion in 2027.

A significant portion of the budget expansion is driven by Social Security, which is expected to rise from R$ 1.3 billion to R$ 2.1 billion. In contrast, the education sector is projected to see a reduction of R$ 510 million, dropping from R$ 3.1 billion in 2026 to R$ 2.5 billion in 2027.
