Acre faces polar wave with storms and temperature drops
A polar wave is expected to significantly alter weather conditions in Acre starting Monday, bringing cooler temperatures, instability, and a high probability of heavy rain and thunderstorms. In regions such as Rio Branco, Brasileia, and Sena Madureira, the weather is predicted to be unstable and windy, with the potential for dangerous gusts.
While central and western areas like Cruzeiro do Sul and Tarauacá may initially experience heat and humidity, a drop in temperature is expected by Monday night. The meteorological shift is also projected to affect neighboring areas, including Rondônia, southern and southwestern Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Goiás, the Federal District, and parts of Bolivia and Peru.
