Acre government announces 2026 Avalia Acre student assessments
The Acre State Government has established the guidelines for the 2026 edition of Avalia Acre, a system designed to evaluate student learning within state and municipal public school networks. The assessment is scheduled to take place from November 9 to 13.
Targeting students in the 2nd and 5th years of elementary school, the evaluation will focus on proficiency in Portuguese Language and Mathematics. The initiative aims to identify learning gaps and successes to inform public education policies and improve teaching quality across the state.
In addition to student testing, the program includes contextual questionnaires for school directors, teachers, and 5th-grade students to gather data on factors influencing academic performance. The implementation is a collaborative effort between the State Secretariat of Education and Culture (SEE), municipal governments, and the Acre section of the Union of Municipal Education Directors (Undime).
