Acre Government delivers wheelchair to child in Rio Branco

The Acre State Government, through the State Secretariat of Social Assistance and Human Rights (SEASDH), delivered a specialized wheelchair to Antônio Costa, a 7-year-old resident of Rio Branco. The initiative, requested via the SEASDH Human Rights Reference Center, aims to improve the child's mobility, autonomy, and quality of life.

João Paulo Silva, the Secretary of Social Assistance and Human Rights, stated that the delivery is part of the state's commitment to ensuring the rights of children with physical disabilities. He emphasized that providing such adapted equipment is a matter of citizenship and a legal right rather than a favor.
