Acre government reschedules Public Servant Day holiday

The government of Acre has issued a decree rescheduling the state optional holiday for Public Servant Day from October 28 to October 30, 2026.

This change has led to a reorganization of the 2026 Corrida do Servidor event schedule. The competition will now take place in Brasileia on October 30, Rio Branco on October 31, and Cruzeiro do Sul on November 1.

Additionally, the government announced 200 new registration slots specifically for state employees for the Rio Branco leg of the race. Participants are required to donate 2 kg of non-perishable food to support solidarity actions in exchange for their race kits.
