Acre Governor Mailza Assis Issues Series of Administrative Decrees

The government of the Brazilian state of Acre published a set of decrees on 5 August 2026 that restructure several state agencies. Governor Mailza Assis authorized the aggregation of 3rd‑sergeant Alisson de Lima Monteiro of the state police into the Casa Militar, expanding the military office’s staff.

The decrees also transferred three civil servants to the Assembleia Legislativa do Acre (Aleac) until the end of 2026 and reassigned several commissioned officials among the Secretarias de Estado, including moves to the Secretarias de Administração, Indústria, Ciência e Tecnologia, and Obras Públicas. In addition, a list of appointed officials was removed from their commissioned positions, resulting in multiple exonerations. The changes take effect on 1 September 2026 and will alter the financial and operational layout of the state administration.
