Acre infrastructure projects expand rural road access

Infrastructure projects are underway in the state of Acre, Brazil, to improve rural road access and facilitate the transport of agricultural production.

In the Rio Branco region, paving works are progressing on the approximately 9.5-kilometer Ramal do Noca, located in the Transacreana area. Funded by nearly R$ 4.8 million from the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development, the project aims to connect production areas to the AC-90 highway. Senator Sérgio Petecão and Mayor Alysson Bestene inspected the site and announced additional investments, including nearly R$ 1 million for a storage warehouse to serve riverside communities via the Calha Norte Program.

Simultaneously, the Acre Department of Highways, Infrastructure, Waterways, and Airports (Deracre) is conducting maintenance and recovery operations on rural roads in the Alto Acre region, including Brasiléia.
