Acre Judiciary strengthens cooperation with Bolivian courts

Judges from the Acre Court of Justice (TJAC) visited the Departmental Court of Justice of Pando in Cobija, Bolivia, to strengthen institutional ties and judicial cooperation across the border.

The delegation, including TJAC President Francisco Djalma and Judge Denise Bonfim, met with Pando Court President Alex Eddy Zeballos. The visit aimed to enhance dialogue and joint actions to combat transnational crimes, including organized crime, human trafficking, smuggling, and violence against women.

The meeting follows a previous session held in Brasiléia, where Bolivian representatives observed the TJAC Criminal Chamber's itinerant session. Both judiciaries expressed interest in future exchanges, including inviting Bolivian magistrates to visit TJAC facilities in Rio Branco to share tools and practices.
