Acre launches mobile service project for rural producers
The Acre government, through the Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Defense of Acre (Idaf), is launching the ‘Idaf Itinerante’ project. This initiative aims to bring technical guidance, sanitary education, and essential services directly to rural producers in six municipalities: Xapuri, Assis Brasil, Brasileia, Tarauacá, Marechal Thaumaturgo, and Porto Walter.
The program is designed to assist producers living in remote communities who face difficulties traveling to urban service centers. Starting in late October, the mobile units will provide assistance regarding the 2026 Annual Herd Declaration, Rural Property Registration, and the Online Producer Registry.
Technical teams will also offer guidance on animal health, including vaccinations for brucellosis and herbivore rabies. Additionally, the project will provide information on phytosanitary requirements and the safe use of pesticides, covering topics such as application, storage, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the correct disposal of empty packaging.
