Acre Military Police adds four new officers to Vale do Juruá
The 6th Military Police Battalion of Acre (PMAC) held a ceremony in Cruzeiro do Sul to welcome four new second-lieutenant officers to the Vale do Juruá region. The group, consisting of three men and one woman, was appointed in August following two and a half years of training.
Major Abraão Silva, commander of the battalion, stated that the arrival of these officers is essential to strengthening the unit's operational capacity and optimizing team deployment across various sectors. The new officers will be distributed among administrative and operational roles, including traffic policing, environmental policing, GIRO, ROTAM, K9 units, and specialized platoons. Their responsibilities will include coordinating teams during ostensive and preventive policing activities.
