Acre ranks 10th in Brazil for digital public services
Acre has secured 10th place in Brazil's national ranking for the best provision of digital public services for 2026, according to data from the State Competitiveness Ranking by the Centro de Liderança Pública (CLP). Within the Northern region, Acre ranks 2nd, following only Tocantins.
The ranking evaluates 26 states and the Federal District based on indicators of public management quality and efficiency. Digitalization is viewed as a tool to increase administrative efficiency, reduce costs, and facilitate citizen access to services. Nationally, Piauí leads the ranking, followed by Goiás and Rio Grande do Sul.
Separately, a study commissioned by Airbnb and conducted by MindMiners identifies Acre as one of the most prominent travel destinations in the Northern region for 2026. While the Northern region accounts for 5% of national travel intentions, Acre is noted alongside Pará and Amazonas as a key destination for Brazilians seeking leisure and short holiday trips.
