Acre renews R$ 30 million healthcare agreement with Hospital Santa Juliana

The Acre State Health Secretariat (Sesacre) has extended its agreement with Hospital Santa Juliana in Rio Branco for an additional 12 months. The partnership, formalized through a fifth addendum, is valued at over R$ 30 million and remains in effect until September 25, 2027.

This agreement ensures the continuity of medium and high-complexity services for patients of the Unified Health System (SUS). The philanthropic hospital provides specialized care in areas including cardiology, general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and clinical medicine.

As a high-complexity cardiovascular assistance unit, the hospital performs specialized procedures such as pacemaker implants, angioplasties, and myocardial revascularization surgeries. It also maintains adult and neonatal intensive care units (ICU) and offers services in neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and high-risk obstetrics. The renewal aims to expand specialized service capacity within the state and reduce the need to transfer patients to other regions for treatment.
