Acre sees decline in Covid-19 respiratory syndrome cases

According to the latest InfoGripe bulletin from Fiocruz, cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SRAG) caused by Covid-19 are showing signs of stabilization or decline in Acre.

The data, covering Epidemiological Week 40 (October 4 to 10), indicates that the slight increase in Covid-19 SRAG cases previously observed in the region has lost momentum. This trend of stabilization is also noted in other Brazilian states such as Goiás, the Distrito Federal, and São Paulo.

While respiratory virus activity remains low across most of the country, researchers emphasize the importance of maintaining up-to-date Covid-19 vaccinations for priority groups and RSV vaccinations for pregnant women.
