Acronis appoints Prakash Panjwani as new CEO

Acronis has announced the immediate appointment of Prakash Panjwani as Chief Executive Officer. Panjwani succeeds Jan-Jaap “JJ” Jager, who will remain a shareholder in the company.

Panjwani brings extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector, having previously served as CEO of WatchGuard Technologies and SafeNet. His background includes leading global security platforms and managing organic growth alongside mergers and acquisitions.

Warren Adelman, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Acronis, stated that Panjwani is well-positioned to consolidate recent achievements and lead the company through its next strategic phase of innovation and expansion.
