Acropolis Rally scheduled for June 2027

The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) has announced the schedule for the 2027 season, confirming that the Acropolis Rally will take place in Greece from June 24 to June 27, 2027.

As the seventh round of a 15-event season spanning five continents, the Acropolis Rally will serve as the opening event for the summer European gravel season, following asphalt rounds in Croatia, the Canary Islands, and Japan. The 2027 season marks a transition period with the introduction of the WRC27 technical regulations, which aim to reduce costs and encourage broader participation from manufacturers and independent builders.

Other notable changes to the 2027 calendar include the return of the United States Rally for the first time since 1988 and the Rally Scotland for the first time since 2019. The season is set to begin with the Monte Carlo Rally in January and conclude with the Rally Saudi Arabia in November.
