ACS and Hochtief ranked as world's largest international contractors

The ACS and Hochtief group has been ranked as the world's largest international contractor in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 250 International Contractors list. This marks the eighth time the group has secured the top position within the last decade.

In 2025, the group reported international sales of approximately 49.8 billion euros, representing a 19.7% increase compared to 2024. The company's order backlog reached a record 92.8 billion euros. Growth has been driven by strategic sectors including data centers, digital infrastructure, energy, critical minerals, defense, healthcare, and sustainable transport.

The group maintains a highly globalized profile, with 92% of its portfolio located outside of Spain. The United States and Canada account for 56% of this international portfolio. In the ENR ranking, the ACS/Hochtief group was followed by France's Vinci in second place and Bouygues in third.
