Actega to build new sealant production facility in China

Actega has announced an investment to establish a new metal packaging sealant production facility at its existing site in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2026.

The new facility will produce both premium and standard sealant grades specifically for food and beverage can applications. By integrating local production, sales, and technical services into a single regional hub, the company aims to shorten supply chains and increase responsiveness to the growing Asian market.

This expansion is part of a broader regional strategy that includes a recently opened office and application laboratory in Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, Actega will provide customers with access to ROTARflow, a digital solution designed to monitor sealant film weights, improve material consumption, and enhance production consistency.
