Action and Auchan recall unsafe consumer products over burn and contamination risks

The Dutch discount retailer Action has withdrawn its "Big Jeff BBQ Gloves" from sale after safety tests showed the gloves did not meet required flame‑resistance standards and could cause severe burns when exposed to temperatures up to 250 °C. Customers are advised to stop using the gloves immediately and return them to any Action store for a full refund, even without a receipt.

French‑owned Auchan in Poland has issued a recall of Arizona Original Green Tea bottles after sanitary inspection found abnormal colour, chemical odour and a bitter taste in a specific batch (LOT0409). Shoppers are urged not to consume the product, to discard it or return it to the point of purchase for a refund upon presenting proof of purchase.
