Active Learning Trust schools receive educational recognition
Two primary schools under the Active Learning Trust have received significant recognition for their educational environments and inclusive practices in the United Kingdom.
Earith Primary School in Huntingdonshire was praised in a recent Ofsted report for its “welcoming and nurturing” atmosphere. Inspectors noted that pupils feel safe and well-supported, highlighting strong performance in early years and personal development. The school has tailored its curriculum to its local surroundings, offering water-safety lessons and teaching older students about digital footprints and artificial intelligence.
In Suffolk, Westwood Primary School in Lowestoft has retained its status as an Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Centre of Excellence for the third consecutive year. Following this achievement, the school has been recommended for IQM Flagship School status, a designation that will allow it to share its inclusive practices with other educational institutions. The IQM accreditation evaluates how effectively schools promote equal opportunities for all students, regardless of background or special educational needs.
