Call of Duty Black Ops 1 & 2 set for PlayStation ports in July 2026

Treyarch confirmed that the original Call of Duty Black Ops (2010) and Black Ops 2 (2012) will be released as ports for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in July 2026. The ports are being developed with Iron Galaxy Studios and will include the campaign, multiplayer and Zombies modes, but they are not full remasters.

Pricing details have surfaced from store updates on Xbox and PC. The base games are listed at $40 each, individual DLC packs at $10 (down from $15), and a season pass for Black Ops 2 at $30 (down from $50). If a player purchases both titles with all DLC, the total cost could reach up to $160. Fans have expressed concern that the price is high for games originally released over a decade ago, especially since the ports lack visual upgrades.

Activision has not yet announced official PlayStation pricing or any additional enhancements. The announcement comes ahead of the upcoming release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, heightening anticipation for the classic titles on modern hardware.
