ACTIVO to release BR01 Bluetooth remote with rotary wheel

AyuTo has announced the release of the ACTIVO BR01, a Bluetooth remote controller from Astell&Kern’s casual sub-brand, ACTIVO. Scheduled for release on September 19, the device is priced at 8,800 yen.

The remote features a rotary wheel for volume control, designed to provide tactile feedback with a slight click sensation for precise adjustments without needing to look at the device. It utilizes Bluetooth 5.3 and supports multi-pairing for up to three devices, allowing users to switch between them smoothly. Note that when connected to iOS devices, the screen ON/OFF and back buttons are unavailable.

Constructed with an aluminum wheel and an ABS resin body, the compact device weighs approximately 44.5g. It offers about 90 hours of continuous use from a 2-hour USB-C charge and includes an automatic sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve power.
