Actofive unveils modular E-MTB and mountain bike frame concept

Actofive has introduced a new E-bike frame concept designed to function as both an electric mountain bike (E-MTB) and a traditional mountain bike. The modular design utilizes a single CNC-milled 7075-T6 aluminum base to accommodate two different drive systems.

For the E-MTB configuration, the frame supports a Maxon Air-S motor and a removable 400 Wh or 600 Wh battery. For the non-electric version, the frame can be equipped with a Pinion Smartshift gearbox and belt drive. In the absence of a motor and battery, the down tube provides storage space equivalent to approximately two water bottles.

The concept offers variable suspension travel for both Enduro and Trail setups, with multiple wheel size options including 29-inch, Mullet (29/27.5-inch), or 32-inch front configurations.
