Actor Bảo Bảo in critical condition with tuberculous meningitis

Vietnamese actor Bảo Bảo, a runner-up on Cười Xuyên Việt 2020 and a member of the Huỳnh Long cải lương troupe, is in critical condition following a recent traffic accident and subsequent medical complications. He is currently receiving intensive care at Nhân dân 115 Hospital, where he is in a coma, experiencing seizures, and requiring mechanical ventilation via endotracheal tube.

Medical tests have confirmed that the 31-year-old actor is suffering from tuberculous meningitis and is also being treated for pulmonary tuberculosis. Due to the severity of his condition, there are plans to transfer him to Phạm Ngọc Thạch Hospital for continued specialized treatment.

In response to his medical crisis and the high cost of treatment, the Vietnamese entertainment community has mobilized significant financial support. As of September 13, donations from fellow artists and fans have exceeded 550 million VND. Notable contributors include artists such as Puka, Gin Tuấn Kiệt, Thu Trang, Tiến Luật, and many others from the theater, film, and music industries.
