Actor Burak Hakkı farms walnuts on 35,000 sqm organic farm in Çanakkale

Turkish actor Burak Hakkı, known for TV series such as “Dudaktan Kalbe” and “Kaybolan Yıllar,” left his city life and settled in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale. He established a 35,000‑square‑metre organic farm in the village of Güneyli, where he cultivates vegetables, fruit and about a thousand walnut trees.

Hakkı spends roughly six months a year on the farm, irrigating around 20 dönüm with his mother’s help and preparing for the walnut harvest. The organically grown walnuts attract strong demand each season, and he sells the produce while still accepting acting roles and new film‑or‑TV projects.
