Actor Caian Zattar discusses Belchior role and career instability

Actor Caian Zattar, who portrays the young singer Belchior in the Canal Brasil series ‘Alucinação’, has shared insights into his career and the financial realities of the acting profession. To manage the instability of audiovisual work and cover basic living expenses during periods without acting projects, Zattar works as an attendant in a commercial establishment in downtown Rio de Janeiro.

The son of actors Adriana Zattar and Licurgo Spinola, Zattar noted that he never romanticized the industry, having witnessed the financial fluctuations of the profession since childhood. He recalled starting work as a model at a young age to help his family pay for school. His recent credits include the soap opera ‘Elas por Elas’ and the series ‘Alucinação’, where he expressed a deep connection to Belchior’s musical legacy and the cultural importance of the artist in Ceará.
