Actor Caian Zattar works retail to manage career instability

Actor Caian Zattar, known for his roles in ‘Malhação’ and ‘Elas por Elas’, has revealed that he works as a retail clerk in downtown Rio de Janeiro to supplement his income. Zattar stated that the job serves as a ‘stopgap so I don't go hungry’ during periods of financial instability inherent in the acting profession.

The son of actors Adriana Zattar and Licurgo Spinola, Caian noted that he grew up witnessing the financial fluctuations of an artistic career and has never romanticized the profession. He mentioned that his retail employer is flexible, allowing him to leave for filming commitments without bureaucracy.

Zattar is currently appearing in the series ‘Alucinação’ on Canal Brasil, where he portrays a young Belchior. He previously worked as a model for three years to assist his family with expenses before transitioning into acting.
