Actor Charlie Cho seen in good health following retirement

Veteran actor Charlie Cho, 77, has been spotted in Guangzhou appearing in good health, following his retirement last year due to medical concerns. Previously seen looking frail after suffering from partial paralysis, recent footage captured by actor Wong Yat-shan shows Cho with a healthy complexion, improved weight, and high spirits.

Cho has relocated to Zhangmutou, Dongguan, where he lives in a modest rental apartment for 1,300 RMB per month. He noted that moving to mainland China helped him avoid the housing pressures in Hong Kong that had previously contributed to high blood pressure.

Reflecting on his life, the actor discussed significant personal and financial shifts, including losing over 10 million HKD in a single night through Hang Seng Index and warrant trading. He also touched upon his personal life, mentioning his divorce in 2022 and expressing that while he has no children, he maintains a philosophical outlook on his life and career.
