Actor Chi Zhongrui appears publicly with Zhao Yong in Hebei

Actor Chi Zhongrui, widely known for his role as Tang Sanzang, recently appeared at an event in the Shouheng International Flower Market in Baoding, Hebei, China. He was accompanied by Zhao Yong, the Chairman of FuWah International Group and the son of Chi’s late wife, billionaire Chen Lihua.

Observers noted that while Chi appeared youthful for his 74 years, he showed signs of declining physical mobility, specifically a stiffness in his left hand. Zhao Yong was seen walking slowly to accompany his stepfather.

Chi and Chen Lihua did not have children together, but Chi has maintained a close relationship with Chen’s children. Following Chen Lihua’s passing, Chi reportedly declined a portion of the multi-billion dollar inheritance, which is estimated at approximately 47 billion NDT (over 6.8 billion USD). Although Chi was removed from the official registries of FuWah International Group companies after Chen’s death, he continues to support the group’s activities using his public reputation.
