Actor Dhanush meets women fans in Chennai amid political speculation

Tamil actor Dhanush is scheduled to hold a consultative meeting with over 3,000 women executives and volunteers of his newly rebranded welfare movement, Dhanush Narpani Iyakkam, at a private college near Chennai.

The meeting follows a recent restructuring of his official fan club, formerly known as Dhanush Narpani Mandram, which was formally transformed into a welfare movement during a meeting in Coimbatore. The organization also unveiled a new logo featuring the actor with folded hands against a red star.

While Dhanush has not officially announced a political entry, the organizational shift has fueled speculation across Tamil Nadu. The actor previously urged his followers to transition from cinema adoration to grassroots community service. Established political figures from the AIADMK and DMK have already offered varying reactions to the rumors of his potential entry into public life.
