Actor and former sumo wrestler Drum Tomoe has shared several updates from the set of the TBS Sunday Theater drama ‘VIVANT’. Tomoe, who plays the character Drum, recently used social media to showcase cultural exchanges during filming.
Tomoe conducted a sumo workshop for co-star Pattarapong Kantabojie (who plays Gerun), sharing photos of the two performing shiko leg stomps. Tomoe expressed gratitude for the cross-cultural connection through Japanese sumo culture.
Additionally, Tomoe shared photos from the RKK Festival in Kumamoto, where he met DJ KOO. During their encounter, DJ KOO made a reference to the drama's plot, encouraging Tomoe to help the character Nozaki.
