Actor Dude Harlino Returns Rp5.25 Billion Honor to Indonesian Police

Indonesian actor Dude Harlino voluntarily returned the honor of Rp5.25 billion that he had received as a brand ambassador for PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI). He handed the money over to the Dittipideksus Bareskrim, the criminal investigation division of the Indonesian National Police, after a month of discussions with investigators.

Harlino said his decision was driven by concern for the victims of an alleged fraud and embezzlement case involving PT DSI, many of whom are retirees who lost their investment savings. He expressed hope that the funds could be used to support restitution efforts for those affected.
