Actor Eduardo Sterblitch debuts in theater and joins Globo's new series

Brazilian comedian and actor Eduardo Sterblitch has premiered in the stage production "O Beijo no Asfalto" in Rio de Janeiro. The play, adapted from Nelson Rodrigues’ classic, sees Sterblitch portray Arandir, a newly‑married bank clerk who becomes entangled in a scandal after witnessing a traffic accident.

Sterblitch also confirmed his next television role in Globo’s upcoming Globoplay novela "Paraíso Perdido", another project inspired by Rodrigues’ works. He reflected on the challenges of comedy, saying, “Making someone laugh is very difficult,” and highlighted his recent success with the humor show "ET" alongside Tatá Werneck.
